Overview

General Biofuels Canada (GBC) is establishing a 500,000 ton per year wood pellet plant in Northwest British Columbia to supply the needs of utility and industrial customers in Europe, Asia, and North America. Based in Terrace, BC and shipping from Prince Rupert, the plant will be one of the largest in the world, capable of supplying the fuel for over 287 megawatts of power per year.
