Ruby's experience encompasses running factories at GE, advising CEOs of Fortune 100 companies while at McKinsey and starting and managing four software/services companies. Ruby is currently the Chairman of Accelcia Business Services - one stop back-office services provider focused on small and medium businesses. Earlier Ruby was COO of Ketera Technologies - a Software-as-a -Service company focused on Spend Management. There he achieved a dramatic turnaround - increasing bookings from 600K to 16M in one year and at the same time paring cost down by over 70%. Previously, as COO of VerticalNet Solutions, Ruby created the 300+ person strong Enterprise Software firm. Ruby was President of Tradeum prior to its acquisition. Before joining Tradeum, Ruby was the Vice President of eBusiness Services for i2, and headed the Strategic Opportunity Assessment group. Ruby joined i2 Technologies from McKinsey & Company, where he served Manufacturing and Oil & Gas clients in several strategy and operations engagements. He has also performed operations, product development and program management functions for a number of divisions of General Electric for over 6 years, where he is a graduate of GE's two year Manufacturing Management Program (MMP). Ruby has an MBA from the University of Chicago with an emphasis on Strategy & Economics and a Dual BS in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering from SUNY at Buffalo.
Tassilo’s experience includes M&A, building and running manufacturing plants in the US and Mexico, developing strategies for Fortune 100 companies, and structuring commodity trade finance transactions for the largest trading companies in the world. Tassilo is currently one of the Managing Direcors of General Biofuels. Prior to this he was President & CEO of Kern-Liebers USA, Inc. a mid-market precision manufacturing company with 8 manufacturing plants in the U.S. and Mexico. Tassilo grew the business by 40+% through six acquisitions and organic growth. Previously, as Vice President of a hi- tech startup, he helped shape the startup from concept into an operational, revenue-generating business. In his prior career as a McKinsey consultant, Tassilo developed successful strategies for Fortune 500 telecommunications companies and utilities. Tassilo started his career at Deutsche Bank New York, where he became head of the branch’s Commodity Trade Finance Department. In this role he managed thebank’s relationships with some of the world’s leading commodity trading companies and Asian trading houses, and structured complex international trade finance transactions. Tassilo has an MBA from the University of Chicago GSB,and a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Operations Research & Industrial Engineering from Cornell University.
Bill is responsible for project identification, development, and product marketing at General Biofuels. He draws his experience and knowledge from nearly 20 years in the solid and hazardous waste management industries. In the 1990s, he revolutionized the solid and hazardous waste industry in the West when he co-founded the largest waste-by-rail company in California. He successfully managed clean up and remediation of numerous former industrial sites. Bill also offers expertise and experience with site permitting and development, having sited and developed solid waste transfer facilities. More recently, he has worked with renewable energy project developers and major financial institutions to facilitate financing of utility-scale wind, solar, and biomass energy projects. Bill holds a Master’s in Environmental Management from Harvard University, an MBA from the University of Southern California with an emphasis in Entrepreneurship and Corporate Finance, and a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from California State University.
